Stone Point Therapy in the Netherlands- Therapy for Expats
A native English speaker, I offer therapy services in English to help expats, EU/US Nationals, and immigrants adjust to new circumstances and create strategies to integrate work, home life, children, friends, dating, relationships, and more. My goal is to help people navigate life’s challenges, and thrive in their environments. For more than 15 years, I have also carried an inclusive, client-focused practice. I am licensed in Wisconsin, USA, as a Marriage and Family Therapist (WI license #2071-124), registered in the NL Kamer van Koophandel, Dutch Chamber of Commerce (#90034716) a Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen Member (NIP) #242463, a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, a member of the American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, and an international Member of National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists ICIP#362343
About Me
I trained at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Marriage and Family Therapy and Sex Therapy. My family and I moved to the Netherlands from Wisconsin in October 2022. We make our home in the south of the Netherlands. I’m still a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Wisconsin, and I see both Wisconsin and Netherlands clients in my practice of online teletherapy. In the Netherlands I specialize in assisting English speaking expats with adjustments culturally, professionally, and personally.
I see clients in the Netherlands in Couples Counseling, Individual Counseling, and Sex Therapy. Currently I have some limited availability for in person sessions in southwest Breda, NL. Other sessions are online via secure zoom link. The work is fully confidential. Relationship Challenges and Loneliness, Trauma and Gender are some of my specialties. I welcome professionals, medical professionals, lgbtq people and neurodivergent people, and others interested in efficient therapy that addresses nervous system regulation and patterns. I value being as efficient, creative, and playful where possible in my work.
